SANCTUARY FLOWERS
The flowers in the sanctuary this morning are given in memory of Burnell Arrington by her husband, Howard Arrington.
MILDRED DUERR CIRCLE
The Mildred Duerr Circle will be meeting tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The circle would also like to invite you to join them in bringing “white socks and men’s and women’s underwear” for our homeless ministry during the next two Sundays. Most any size will do, and the items may be new or laundered in good condition.
BUSINESS MEETING
The monthly business meeting of our church family will be held this Wednesday, February 13th. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. The amendment regarding the business meetings of the church will be presented. Please plan to be in attendance.
GOSPEL SING
Calvary is hosting a “Gospel Sing” next Sunday evening, February 17th, at 7:00 p.m. Most of those who will be singing will be from our own church family. Requests for special songs and singers should be given to Don Carter today. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come. After the Gospel Sing, refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall.
FARM FRESH RECEIPTS
Farm Fresh continues to donate one point to our church for every dollar spent in their stores. To date we have approximately $10,000 in receipts to be used towards free items for our church. Please continue to save your receipts. They will be accepted through May 31st. A box has been placed in the lobby for the receipts.
SENIOR SAINTS
The “Senior Saints” are planning a Valentine dinner on February 21st at 6:30 PM. A delicious meal will be served followed by entertainment with Mary Barnes and daughter, Julie Dunn. Please mark this on your calendar. We would love to see you there. Reservations are being taken through February 17th. Contact Boots Strange for more information.
WOMEN OF FAITH
This year our Baptist Women’s group would like to organize a trip to Washington, D.C. for the “Infinite Grace Conference.” The conference will begin Friday evening, July 11th at 7:00 pm and conclude Saturday, July 12th at 6:00 pm. We will plan to leave the church early Friday and return Saturday evening. If you are interested in attending this conference please call Connie Powell at the church office (399-1050) and have your name added to the list.
EASTERN SHORE MISSION TRIP
Mark your calendar now for July 13-19, 2008. The sign up sheet for the Eastern Shore Mission Trip is on the bulletin board outside the sanctuary. If you have any questions, see Mary Cutchins.
