SANCTUARY FLOWERS
The flowers in the sanctuary this morning are in honor of our parents, Peggy and Burfoot Buchanan, who continue to model God’s love for us every day of their lives. Please join us in celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary…the girls, Pam and Bonnie, the sons-in-law, Skip and Oliver.
ANNIE ARMSTRONG OFFERING
This past Sunday we reached and exceeded our goal of $3,000 for the Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions. Our total now stands at $3,367.00. Gifts for this offering will be received through the month of March.
SUNDAY LUNCHEON
Today, after the morning worship service, you and your family are invited to an “All American Luncheon” sponsored by the Youth Ministry of our church. They’ll be serving hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixings! The cost is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children. This is a fundraiser to help our young people go to camp this summer.
LAWN DAY
It’s time to trim the shrubbery and spruce up the flower beds around the church. We’ll meet between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon this Saturday, April 5th. Come on out and help us make our church’s facilities a more beautiful place in which to worship the Lord.
WOMEN OF FAITH CONFERENCE
Just a reminder – all money for the Women of Faith is due in the church office by this Wednesday, April 1st. Thank you.
EASTERN SHORE MISSION TRIP
Mark your calendar now for July 13-19, 2008. The signup sheet for the Eastern Shore Mission Trip is on the bulletin board outside the sanctuary. This is a great youth opportunity as well. If you have any questions, see Mary Cutchins (Judea).
PREPARE FOR DISASTER
Join the Calvary Team already qualified for disaster relief mobilization. Learn chain saw operations, mass feeding, shower, mud-out, and other skills. Date: Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, 2008. Get updated if your qualification is over two years old. Contact Mary Cutchins (Samaria).
